Profile

I’ve always had a passion for the arts and try as often as I can to spread design ideas and creative concepts to the people I meet and the world around me. In 2002 I graduated from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio where I received a  joint Arts Education with the Cleveland Institute of Art and Case Western. I started my teaching career right out of college and have been a part of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District for ten years. I started as a high school visual arts teacher for a good portion of the time and then transitioned to support an administrative role as an artistic director for the Cleveland School of the Arts and later as Assistant Head of School for MC2 STEM High School. I am currently leading a District wide STEM initiative that started out of the  MC2 STEM High School and has spread to six K-8 STEM Schools within the Cleveland School District.
